Jennifer returns to The Industry, LA’s hottest contemporary opera company, to sing the role of Tasha in excerpts from Dylan Mattingly’s new opera, Stranger Love.

First Take is The Industry’s biennial West Coast workshop of new American operas, presented this year in collaboration with Christopher Roundtree’s highly acclaimed WildUP Music Collective.

Inspired by Plato’s Symposium and drawing on diverse literary sources and the polyphonic vocal music of Polynesia and Central Africa, Stranger Love employs narrative and abstract motifs to tell a love story that culminates in a moving image of eternity.
